Twyla Andricksson (Elinor Chalamet’s apprentice) takes on her own standalone mystery adventures in this novella series.
These are standalone, light-hearted ghost mystery romps featuring Twyla who always does terrible things with great enthusiasm for very good reasons. They are Twyla centric and have a different tone and style. Much more “Twyla” who is young, impulsive, outspoken, and who lacks the compassion and wisdom of Elinor.
As she told Elinor, “I’m very intuitive and my hunches are never wrong.”

These stories do have side characters that were mentioned in Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries so for those who wondered “but what about ??” you’ll find out in these stories. However, they generally do not feature Elinor Chalamet or Tristan Fontaine unless listed in the book description.
These do not have cliffhangers and can be read as standalones but be aware that they do contain spoilers for the Madame Chalamet Ghost Mysteries series.

The Blood Locket Mystery #1
“I’m very intuitive and my hunches are never wrong.”
Apprentice Ghost Talker, Twyla Andricksson sets out to solve her own mystery in this charming spin-off that features Twyla’s special brand of exuberant mayhem.
When Twyla messes up a seance, she is given the task by Elinor to solve the mystery of a dead servant girl’s locket. So while Elinor is out of town (see Spirit Guide) Twyla tackles the task, visiting lawyers, pestering the coroner, and generally putting her nose into other people’s business.
Working on her first case also provides a very good reason to escape her matchmaking mother and obnoxious brother.

The Death Ring Mystery #2
All Twyla wanted was tea and cake, but she got a curse instead.
With a talent for walking the realm of ghosts unharmed, Twyla Andricksson is sent to a country asylum run by the Morpheus Society to help those who have lost their minds.
The slapped sister became hysterical. “She told us she is headed to the Blanc Lys where they flay people alive!”
Twyla protested, “I never said that!”
Twyla is the last chance for a woman who will wait for eternity for her dead husband, and for a young man held captive by his grandmother’s ghost because she needs help with her knitting.
This story takes place during Elinor’s Haunted Grave.

The Crimson Sword Mystery #3
