I’ve written so much about the business side of being an author, but let me take a break and talk with my readers here. What is on the horizon for Byrd Nash and what books are coming up? What can you expect from me?

It looks like I can produce a book about every 3-4 months which would give me 4 books per year. This is a comfortable goal for me and you will see that continue as we enter 2020: Wicked Wolves published in May, Never Date a Siren in November, A Study in Spirits in February 2020, and Bane of Hounds in July 2020.

Each book will go through Beta Readers, editing (I do pay for editing), and are released first as ARCS (advanced reader copies).

The Wicked Wolves of Windsor fairy tale retellings now available in print, ebook, and audio

The Wicked Wolves of Windsor and other fairytales, update

The biggest news is Wicked Wolves is available in an audio book! And trust me it will blow you away!

These tales are designed to be read over and over again because of the layered meanings in each. I love the new cover – and I’m getting a lot of positive feedback on it.

The reader favorite: The Queen’s Favorite will become a separate chapbook for women groups. More on this as it unfolds.

Never Date a Siren is #1 in the College Fae series. You can sign up to my newsletter via this link to get the book free. Or find it free at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and Apple books.

The College Fae Magic Series, #1 is now available!

Never Date a Siren – is now done and is in pre-release. It will publish on Nov. 19th.

They are a young adult, fantasy series that is mostly “clean” (no sex, language etc…) which focuses on friendships. I plan four books, each with ebooks, print books, and audio books.

It’s sequel, A Study in Spirits – is plotted. I plan on writing the rough draft during November’s NaNoWriMo. Release date February, 2020.

YA Fantasy short story, Knight of Cups, is a modern take on the Holy Grail legend and is part of the College Fae world.

Short stories available to you, my readers and fans

I just finished the Knight of Cups short story and it is now available!

Summer was fun until a ghostly knight puts a damper on things. Brigit, a fae dryad, and Jib, her talking cat, become trapped in a haunted French chateau. They quickly become embroiled in a creepy family mystery with ties to the medieval myths and legends of the Holy Grail.

While these characters are from Never Date a Siren, the story is designed as a standalone and can be read without knowledge of Never Date a Siren.

Future books

In 2020, I’ll be working on a new Fae series with an unforgettable heroine (I actually have some of this written now).

Wow! That’s a lot! What else are you doing?

I do think 2020 will be a big year for me. I hope to be attending at least 4 conventions and start doing book signings once 3 books have been issued. I also have plans to continue my networking and do some public speaking.

College Life: Friends, Finals, and the Fae trying to kill you. For those who love magical beings living among humans and the things that could go wrong. Boy, can I assure you things go wrong.

  1. Wow, this is amazing! I wish I could be as productive as you are. Your books sound really interesting; I’ll have to put them on my TBR.

    1. That is the plan! But we all know how the best laid plans of mice and men go! LOL All the ebooks are on sale right now and Knight of Cups is a quick read, short story if you want to check them out. 😀
